1930’s Avondale
Great care was taken with this project to update yet preserve the historic character of this home. We removed a cypress paneled wall to convert two rooms into the new, larger kitchen. The original upper cabinets were saved and all the cypress paneling was re-used in other areas. Another unique feature was opening the wall between the Living Room and stairway by adding a large vintage window to add space and light to both areas. The end result of the project is a fresh, classic take on an historic charmer.
